This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are smart, thriving 3rd-grade students in Redwood City, CA! We are very ambitious and love opportunities to challenge ourselves, excel, gain exposure to the outside world, and prove to our community that we are a tremendous asset!

We love to read, especially chapter books that are fun for third graders and are easy for us to make connections with!

We also enjoy activities that challenge our bodies and our minds! We thrive on opportunities that allow us to take ownership over our academic success and showcase our autonomy. Thank you for helping pave our way toward college and career readiness!

My Project

The pandemic has been difficult for us all but has been especially difficult for students. My third-grade students need play equipment, as well as social-emotional materials to help them rebuild their social and play skills now that they are back person. I have also added classroom materials and posters that can serve as content reinforcement to help students close learning gaps that have happened due to online learning. Your funding will help my students to make strong connections to not only their academic content but also with their peers. Thank you for all your generous support!
