Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My class loves to read in the library but our classroom lacks the proper materials for them to do so comfortable. They are currently using milk crates to sit on while they read their books but I know they would love new seating. The library seats and pillows I've included in this project will really bring our library to life and I know it will make my students want to spend more time reading.

My students read every day in the classroom.

I want my young readers to start practicing good reading habits. Finding a comfy place to sit can push even the hesitant readers to want to join in! Please help my third graders enjoy our library more by giving them the seating they deserve!
