This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom library is insufficient. For many years, I have taught fifth and sixth grades and have built my library to suit the needs of those students with age-appropriate literature. This year, I returned to third grade and I'm in great need of expanding my classroom library with more books that are appropriate for younger, emerging readers. I want to instill in them a love of books by providing a variety of genres as well. Also, included in my projects is shelving. I am limited to using counter space only and the shelving in the project is sufficient.
