My Students
My scholars are an energetic bunch of students in grades K-5 who have a love for learning and being active.These scholars come from low socioeconomic backgrounds where many of them are living with various relatives or in temporary housing. This year my students are facing the difficult task of coming back from the past year and a half of virtual learning.
My Project
I’m class, everyone comes to feed their brains with learning! But bellies are important too! Many of my students need these snacks to help them stay focused as they learn. Not all of my friends have the food that they need at home. Through your the day it is important to stop and refuel with a snack or a drink. My students need these pretzels, granola Bar, and Goldfish to stay focused on what they are learning. No one can think or work when they are hungry! So…feed their brains!
