My students need STEM activities in our classroom! My goal is to promote positive critical thinking in a non-threatening way. By incorporating these activities students can play and learn by thinking outside the box!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are a diverse group of learners with kind hearts and eager minds! Currently my students consist of English language learners, special education learners, average learners, slow learners, and gifted learners.
My goal is to provide a diverse, safe, engaging and fun learning environment for my students.
It is important to provide many different learning styles to my students to enhance their learning skills and needs. I want to instill an excitement and love for learning in our classroom, that will allow for my students to expand their learning experiences and keep them engaged!
My Project
Providing my students with learning links, educational STEM building magnetic tiles and blocks, pattern blocks and animals will promote positive learning and engage students as they learn through play. This will allow for students to happily complete activities while learning and using their critical thinking skills.
My students can critically think by planning, building and constructing using these materials.
The set of animals will hone in on science skills taught throughout our curriculum of animal life cycles. Students will engage in sorting and classification, and analyze the different groups of animals.
During morning tub work time, students may choose to create words or nonsense word using the foam dice and expand those words into the silly sentences. The Sterilite containers will help our classroom stay organized and easily
