My Students

My students come from many cultures, as well as varied socio-economic backgrounds. Our school is in a rural part of town surrounded by farmland and nestled at the base of rolling hills.

My students are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners.

They are kind and compassionate. They walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet.

My Project

These four OtterBox protective covers will help to extend the delicate life of our classroom iPads. My students will be able to carry them outside for use in our edible garden and our greenhouse without having to worry about an accidental drop resulting in the death of an iPad.

By thinking "Otter" side of the "Box" our iPads will be under a new protection plan!

With the transition to Common Core standards, students have been given larger, real-world problems that require technology in and outside of the classroom walls at an earlier age.
