My Project

This year, I have spent time working with my students on building thinking strategies instead of just duplicating teacher notes. One way we work on our thinking is by working as a group while standing at whiteboards.

My students have been making great strides working collaboratively at stations on the walls, but their writing surfaces are more work than their math!

The laminated surfaces my students use do not erase well, and sometimes leave marks on the wall behind. This project will provide them with actual white boards and markers so they focus on math and not erasing.
