This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is so important to teach students about empathy, kindness, and paying it forward. We want to help our community by providing basic necessities to the children of St. Jude to promote wellness and compassion.
Many times, the children who are ill are lonely because their parents have to work and not be with them.
We want to make sure that they have a board game, sketch pads, and crayons to occupy them if they are in the room by themselves.
I want my students to make an impact by uplifting the hearts of the children. The students will learn how a simple and kind gesture can impact someone else's lives forever while helping to promote wellness.
