Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third grade students are a diverse group of students from many different cultural backgrounds. But, together, they make up a pretty magical class of committed students who will be our future problem-solvers! They are an upbeat and energetic group of learners. They are hard workers who put forth their best effort.
This group of students especially love math and problem solving!
The materials would be a great way to show them that hard work and learning is fun and rewarding at the same time!
My Project
Most people can't ever imagine that they could possibly solve a Rubik's cube...that they are not "smart" enough. By putting a Rubik's cube in the hands of my students, we are planting the seed that they are smart enough and that they can indeed do it! The chromebooks will allow my students access to information from all over the world, including videos on how to solve the Rubik's cube. My students will understand that with hard work and focus, they can achieve what they may not have thought possible.
Giving my students Rubik's cubes and chromebooks may be the seed that will change their futures!
