My students are part of an IB school, and they all have iPads for their daily use. They have electronic books and most of the lessons are done digitally. We need to now make my room a better learning environment.
My school is teaching a more hands-on approach in all our classes, and with hands-on comes consumable materials.
I teach math using CPM, a new science program called SCALE and design which allows the students to design, build, and revise various projects. My students need hands-on manipulatives and consumables to become more successful in these programs.
The students will use all the materials provided to make their learning fun and memorable.
My Project
In our design and science classes we will be using the design process to do some research, plan the project , build a device and revise/reflect on our successes and failures. We will use the supplies provided to help us build these actual designs.
In math we need to be able to visualize and the use of algebra tiles and polygons will help us.
We will use poster and and laminating materials to enhance our projects.
We thank everyone who helps in making our learning more fun and meaningful. The ability to experience the learning will help to make it stick and not be forgotten.
