My Project
The whiteboards that I am requesting this year will be used during math time. Building Thinking Classrooms is a renowned method for students to engage in math, and the students need big whiteboards for this. I can't wait for students to share "ah-ha"-moments together, as they will take the lead in solving real-world problems. They will share whiteboards together and come up with one solution. In this way, math is also used to enforce working together and clear communication.
Be setting clear times to work together, but also creating space for individual-focus time, it will help build a safe learning environment.
Please support our classroom with headphones, so students can focus on their individual tasks during iPad time. The silence headphones are a great help for students that struggle with distractions during classroom instruction.
With the puppets and language games, learning English will become fun! Thank you for supporting our first graders in the best year yet.
