This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a wonderful group of energetic students who are full of life. Every day they work very hard to reach their goals.

My students come from different backgrounds in a Title I school located in South Central Los Angeles.

More than half of my students are from low-income households. My students are eager to learn and be creative every day. They are sweet, respectful, responsible, happy and curious students who love to explore the endless possibilities in our classroom.

They are amazing kids that deserve the best education. I feel blessed to teach such an amazing group of students.

My Project

This project was inspired by the project "Think and Learn the Pre-K Way."

Technology provides a plethora of opportunities for our young preschoolers to gain fine motor skills, communication skills, build vocabulary, and gain confidence in their unique abilities.

The Think and Learn Code-A-Pillar will guide my students in creating multiple possibilities of travel for the interactive pet while learning about cause and effect scenarios. My students will gain literacy and math skills through interaction with the Leap Frog Letter Factory.

These exciting tools of technology will provide my students with developmentally appropriate activities for learning letters, shapes, and numbers through creative hands on mannipulatives.

These technology enhanced materials will guide my students toward a successful preschool experience.
