Middle school math can be challenging, especially when trying to calculate the slope or work with fractions. Students are able to use calculators on one part of the state test, so it only makes sense that they get used to using them during class time as well. It's hard to use a calculator when they are broken or missing, due to no fault of your own.
Students need calculators to practice with before sitting for the state test in April, but right now we don't even have a full set.
Help us get enough calculators so students are able to practice with them during class time and use them on the state test- making them more successful than in the past.
