Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a new group of babies this year. There's so much to explore, and so much to learn about them. For the most part they are Autistic, ADHD, and ED. I can tell you that two days into the school year and I'm already in love. They are inquisitive, opinionated, comical, and they have a thirst for knowledge, they question everything! We have so much to explore this year. They are in second grade, but they function on a kindergarten level, academically and emotionally. The materials I requested will enable me to put their work on display. I'll know better what they need as we go further into the year.
Right now, I need to be ready to provide a cheerful environment for them and put their work up on display, and the mounting tape and glue dots that I'm asking for will help me do that.
I also requested some wire statue builders so that they can start manipulating the wires, and I can get a good gauge of their physical skills. My work is cut out for me, and I'm delighted. It is my hope that you find your way to helping us this year, and I thank you in advance for anything you do for us.
