Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I can go on and on about all of the things I love most about my students but l will start with how vocal they are about why they do or do not do certain things. Often times I have students come to class without their reading homework and when I ask why wasn't it done, they always say "I didn't have a book" or "I couldn't find a good book to read." We recently had our school book fair and it was around the time the Dog Man Movie was released and immediately my students began saying how they were so excited to see the movie.

I always try to encourage them to look for titles that grasp my students' attention and give it chance.

I figured why not make the 'Dog Man' series accessible to them in the class so that they can enjoy while we do our intendent reading. Please help us obtain book sets and storage trays.
