My Students
Students come to my STEAM class every day with smiles and excitement. Every class, from first grade to third, come with eagerness to learn about science, technology, engineering, music, and so much more!
These are AMAZING kids that deserve an educational experience every time they step into the STEAM classroom.
I want my students to be excited about what they are learning, take that excitement with them, and continue on a pathway of education to a career in a STEAM field.
My Project
I would use this funding to purchase a Tesla coil and electricity kits that each grade level would be able to use and enjoy to build upon their STEAM experiences in the 3 years that they will spend with me at Hubbard.
My goal for this project is to enhance my current STEAM lessons and create new and exciting curriculum using a Tesla Coil display and basic electricity kits.
Every student will be able to view exciting demonstrations of the power of electricity with the help of the Tesla coil and in turn, each student can take what we learn and have a hands on experience working with electrical circuit kits.
