My students need partitions to help them focus on their classwork. Each student having access to one of these will minimize distractions and assist them in creating more original and creative work.

My Students
Although the students in my school come from very diverse backgrounds both academically, and culturally, they all share the love of learning through reading, designing and creating using engineering and science.
Since many of our children are new English language learners we provide many visual cues and prompts to help encourage the strengthening of language in all that we do.
The students are extremely enthusiastic when given a task to explore science using different modalities. Each child has his or her own strengths and enjoys being able to work with one another bringing their special skillset to the group.
My Project
At times, students need time to develop ideas independent of their classmates. With these privacy partitions, my students will be able to better focus and work by themselves. I will also be using these during testing to help minimize any distractions. Some of my students have special needs and these privacy boards will help reduce the amount of times they might need to be redirected.
These privacy partition boards will be used for grades kindergarten through the 3rd grade.
Approximately 220 children will benefit from the 30 boards.. Thank you for taking the time to read and learn about my project.
