My Students
My students come to school every day with smiles and excitement. This is especially amazing as they all come from different walks of life and have so much going on in their lives. Yet, they come everyday ready to work hard and do their best.
This great group of kids need a place for them to belong and succeed, and I am here everyday to provide that for them.
It is my hope that I can help them become the successful students they want to be.
My Project
Our class uses pencils on a daily basis. I spend a lot of time helping to sharpen pencils because the one sharpener we do have does not function properly.
Sharp kids need sharp pencils!
With several sharpeners stationed in different areas of the classroom, students will spend less time waiting for their pencils to be sharpened. We will go through less pencils as well because a new sharpener will actually sharpen pencils rather than eat them.
These are quality pencil sharpeners that will last us several years over the electric ones that do not hold up to the rigor of elementary pencil sharpening.
