This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Shhh, there is another classroom right next to our accordion wall!
Having sliders tennis balls in each chair leg will help my students concentrate and produce their best work yet!
As students get up to sharpen their pencils, engage in group work, use the restrooms, etc., they will be able to do so in a quiet manner.
Wondering how it works? Very simple, each chair will contain four slide tennis balls on each leg. As students move into their groups or any other classroom activity that requires them to be out of their chairs, the tennis balls will facilitate this process by making it easier for the students to take their chairs with them without making any noise. Especially because there is a CLASSROOM RIGHT NEXT DOOR, or should I say right next ACCORDION WALL. This project will help reduce distractions during instruction for both classes.
These tennis balls will help chairs slide smoothly as the students transition within the classroom. In addition, they will maintain the chairs in a comfortable state all year round despite getting damaged. Consider helping my classroom! My students' ears will greatly appreciate it!
