This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As teachers end the current school year and prepare to come back to the classroom after summer break, it always feels like starting over! There are so many changes in curriculum, scheduling, and staff amongst other things. What doesn't change is our need for some basic and consumable supplies in order to be successful!
This DonorsChoose project will give my classroom things that will be directly in the hands of students for our Project-Based Learning (PBL) like construction paper, paint, tape, STEM materials, and more!
This next school year, I will be splitting my time between two schools in my district and teaching two amazing groups of students as their gifted and talented teacher. This also means that I will need double the classroom supplies and materials for my students to engage successfully in our many Project-Based Learning units.
