My Project

With these medicine balls, my students will be able to work on different muscle groups during their workouts. They will be able to add a variety to their workouts instead of just the normal heavy weights. My goals for this project are to give my students and our school a better weight room. I am starting with some of the smaller equipment to get them started. Our school is 70% Native American students and most of these kids don't have access to gyms or proper weights and proper weight training.

My students have been more excited about playing sports and being part of a team since they have been able to use the weight room that's available.

With these medicine balls I hope to add more excitement for the students and help generate a healthier lifestyle for them. I believe this will enhance their overall mental health, as well as their achievements in school.
