Help me give my students Power Pens to increase their math fluency in mutliplication and division. We would also love the flex wobble cushion for flexible seating options.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach students that come from a variety of different backgrounds including those from low-income families. I also teach students from military families who experience many transitions. The students that I serve are affected by the many changes in life, such as homelessness, deployment and a stressful home life to name a few. At school, they feel safe. My students are eager and ready to learn each day they walk through the door.
I want my students to be lifelong learners who will always strive for success.
I am a math teacher but I also teach life lessons.
My Project
My students enjoy working on their math skills using Power Pens but we never have enough pens and cards. The students can either work independently or in a small group to work/practice on their math fact fluency or math skills such as place value and fractions. They also enjoy having flexible seating options and the wobble cushions will be a great addition to our classroom.
Help me to help them build their math fluency with wobble cushions, quiz cards and Power Pens.
All students can learn and are willing when it is fun and engaging to them. Let's make it happen for them.
