My Project
Help with this wonderful initiative! Help stock our comfort closet effectively, considering options such as sweatpants, sweatshirts, and socks for layering and dry comfort. Keeping these items on hand will help our students feel fresh if they are caught in rain or snow. Creating a welcoming space where students feel comfortable picking out what they need will encourage them to utilize the closet. Can you imagine sitting in wet clothes all day and trying to learn? Most students will go home if they walk into school soaked. This also helps to encourage students to grab a clean/dry item of clothing instead of going home and allowing them to stay in school and learn.
