My Students

I teach first through fifth grade gifted students at an elementary school in a low-income rural community. My students are wildly brilliant and show a great interest in exploring, collaborating, researching, and creating. They just have an innate love for learning in all areas of life.

Each one of my students is extremely special and unique in his/her own way.

With their ambition, creativity, and critical thinking skills, I see great future leaders in my presence every school day. All children deserve the best, but these students have earned the merit to be called the best.

My Project

Flexible seating creates an environment where students are eager and intrinsically motivated to learn. Providing students with the independence to choose where they would like to work greatly impacts student productivity and academic success. Students are given the opportunity to make the right choices for themselves and take learning into their own hands.

By providing a small couch in the reading area, a sense of coziness will feel the room, just like if it were a home.

In addition, having cushions available for student use can provide them with comfortable seating options that can be used all around the classroom. By creating a learning space that is warm and inviting, students will be encouraged to take pride in their classroom and performance.
