Flexible seating creates an environment where students are eager and intrinsically motivated to learn. Providing students with the independence to choose where they would like to work greatly impacts student productivity and academic success. Students are given the opportunity to make the right choices for themselves and take learning into their own hands. By providing a small couch in the reading area, a sense of coziness will feel the room, just like if it were a home. In addition, having cushions available for student use can provide them with comfortable seating options that can be used all around the classroom. By creating a learning space that is warm and inviting, students will be encouraged to take pride in their classroom and performance.
