We currently live in a society where technology plays a major role within our school districts. Chromebooks have become very well known for their educational purposes in the classroom, and they are probably the most used technological device by students.
Without Chromebooks, it would be difficult to keep up with the current educational standards for our students.
So what happens when your classroom doesn't have the proper storage and charging capabilities for over 20 Chromebooks? You end up with devices that have dead batteries and must now find a plug to charge said device. Our time to teach is limited, and every minute counts in that classroom. So if any student is without a Chromebook due to a dead battery, then they miss out on receiving that full learning potential with the rest of the class. My solution for this is to have a Chromebook charging station.
With a Chromebook charging station, all of my classroom Chromebooks will have their own "home" and an outlet for their corresponding charging cables. I will use the two 12-compartment literature organizers as the storage compartments for each Chromebook. No more stacked Chromebooks on the counter. No more numerous power strips scattered throughout the room. Just one organized destination for all Chromebooks and their chargers.
