Help me give my students fun and engaging board games, card games, and books to strengthen their executive functioning skills including planning, organization, cognitive flexibility, working memory, inhibition and social understanding which in turn will support their reading comprehension skills.

My Project
My students who struggle with reading comprehension difficulties often can read and decode fluently but have difficulty showing a true understanding of the text and an ability to interact with a text on a higher level. This is because they need to strengthen their executive functioning skills. Executive functioning skills are invisible skills that take place while we are reading. These include planning, organizational skills, cognitive flexibility, working memory, inhibition, and social understanding. Executive functioning skills can easily be strengthened through explicit teaching with the combination of activities and games that cause students to really think critically about words and ideas. The games I've requested will do just that and provide my students with Executive FUNctioning FUN Fridays!
