Help me give my students the National Geographic World, Pacific Centered Wall Maps and the Pacific Ocean Wall Maps to see the world and to become curious about other places in the world

My Project
This project will give students maps of the world so they can see what is out there and become interested in places beyond their island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Hopefully one day, because of these maps, a student will save up some money, buy a ticket and venture out in the world and see places, meet people, and do things that they would never do at home.
Often, I pull down the map in front of the classroom and we have conversations about the world, or I show the students where places are in the world. By having these maps for every 4 students at their desks, the maps will allow students to look around on their own and have small conversations with their peers about the world.
Like a book in one's hand, there is something powerful about having a map in one's hand and wondering what a place may be like, feel like, smell like, what they eat, etc.
Also, one of the maps that I've chosen for this project is Pacific-centered based so students can see our part of the world in the middle of the map. Often, Hawaii is this little wedge piece added onto the map next to Mexico. With a Pacific-centered based map, this map will be beneficial when we go into Pacific Island Studies. Students will be able to see all the islands in the Pacific Ocean and then hopefully gave further knowledge that they live in Oceania.
The idea of "we are all connected by the ocean" will hopefully be more concrete in the students' minds when they have a map that is Pacific-centered based and can see all the islands in Oceania are really connected by the ocean. They'll see how far people migrated from the Melanesia to Polynesia, then to Hawaii.
