This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach Physics and AP Physics to 11th and 12th grade students. Students engage in science concepts that prepare students for introductory college Physics and build transferable science skills. The students I teach work very hard to learn material.

Visualizing Physics concepts through the use of physical lab equipment will help ground the material in reality and gives students an equal opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain from the classroom.

Experiments that can be completed with the supplies requested, such as mass sets, digital scale, will help the students by helping them calculate the acceleration due to gravity, calculating force of gravity /springs. These supplies are essential in facilitating successful physics labs and provide an impactful method of learning to students.
