My Project

The final project in Physics of the Ocean is to build a miniature solar boat. On the last day of class, students will race their boats, competing to see who built the fastest model and whose boat can travel in the straightest path, while following design criteria. I want to invite students and staff from outside of the class to come spectate and cheer on my students on Race Day.

To make Race Day even more memorable and festive, I would like to serve boat/maritime-themed snacks.

Celebrations are always better when you commit to the theme! I look forward to students walking in to my classroom on Race Day and feeling the excitement and enthusiasm that I have steeped everything in. Thank you for your help in this pursuit!
