This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My theatre students are intelligent and driven! They enjoy the various units that I am able to teach them about performance and technical theatre. They are always wanting to do more and test their knowledge and skills. One of our upcoming units is in Theatrical Stage Makeup and the kids are beyond excited to learn! There is just one issue...I don't have any mirrors in my classroom.

Due to an increase in my theatre class sizes, we are in need of a classroom set of mirrors to utilize during our stage makeup units.

In previous years, my class sizes were smaller, which meant that I was able to take a class into one of the dressing rooms to use the mirrors there. However, now that my classes have become more popular with the student body, going into the dressing room is not an option.

Having these portable table mirrors will be so very helpful to have in the classroom. It would mean that students would be able to have their own space at their table and will not need to use their phone or computer cameras while applying stage makeup, making this experience more enjoyable!
