Theatre Makeup

My students need the basic stage makeup items so that they can learn how to apply stage makeup for our new Theatre department productions.

My Students

The students in our school are from a very small rural area. They have little income and have to learn to survive . Many of them do not know the basic necessities of living.

Low income and Rural are the best words to describe the students in our District.

Most of them do not have computers at home or Internet. They are from low income families in MO. My students are behind when it comes to technology and how to use it when they get to my classes.

My Project

We are starting a new Theatre department at our small school and are needing the basics in stage makeup and application tools. We need make up kits for students to use as well as we need the big kit to teach the students how to do different types of stage makeup. We need a lot of the basics to start out makeup kits.

I requested a Bald Caps so that the students can learn not only how to apply but also blend the edges.

The movie and film making industry is growing. For each movie they need makeup artist to apply the makeup for the actors and actresses. This is a technique that students can learn that can eventually lead to a career.
