it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, I want to display my 4th-grade students' writing on a wall. They will be able to add their latest piece of work to clipboards that will be mounted on the wall, making it easy for papers to stay organized and on display. They will work on different pieces of writing, such as informational pieces, narratives, opinion papers, and poetry, which will be added to the clipboard. Every student will be able to reread their old work, refer to their work, and also read the work of their peers, which is motivating. Parents will be able to see their child's progression in writing as finished pieces are added all year long. The push pins will help keep the clipboards hanging, and students will use the file folders to store their current writing pieces. This will keep their organizers, drafts, and notes in one place. I can't wait for them to begin adding work to our new Writing Wall.
