This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me fund materials for my students' interactive, fun, and age-appropriate writing centers and get them materials for small groups and literacy work.

With your support, I can take my small groups to the next level with these materials; my students will explore writing concepts in play-based lessons!

The visual timers & date stamps will support autonomy as students use them for small-group writing. The binders will serve as student portfolios to showcase student work. The shelf & clipboard organizers will help keep the writing center organized. The trays, ink, and rubber floor dots will support literacy & writing-guided groups.

My students will think they are "playing," but you and I will know they are using play as a tool to learn how to write.
