My Project

English learners new to our school walk in the door hungry to start, but oftentimes the students and their families don't have the disposable income to buy supplies, particularly because our city has a high cost of living. Money earned needs to go toward rent.

We would like to get basic school supplies for students to take home to help start the year out right.

The pencils, pens and notebooks will be part of a welcome pack, to be distributed to students as soon as they walk in. We hope that these small gifts will get them to keep coming back, even when the learning is hard!
