This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom consists of 24 hard working students who will be striving this year to master many math and science concepts. We work collaboratively throughout the day to learn and master these concepts.

This white board table will give my students a safe place where they can work in small groups with me to understand these concepts while not being afraid to make mistakes.

Working on a white board lets the students and me work collaboratively without the pressure of them having to get everything right the first time. Being able to see and correct mistakes as students make them is a very effective strategy for helping students comprehend and practice concepts as they learn them.
