My Project

Help me create a writing center and an accessible interactive writing board for our preschool children!

Writing skill development is one of the most important foundational skills for learning to read.

Throughout the year, we will write lists and label scientific observations. We will journal our wonderings and learnings. We will write letters to family, friends, community members and experts! We will create and write our own recipes!! We will even learn to write poems and short stories!!! This project will help make an exciting writing center to motivate our young pre-writers as they engage in these meaningful writing projects. This project also provides for an accessible white board so that children can model writing with the teacher during group times, making learning more hands-on and interactive.
