This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a classroom full of energetic and creative fifth graders who are eager to learn and enjoy using different types of materials for their learning. We are part of a large metropolitan school district. My class is ethnically diverse.

Our school has a large population of students who have various disabilities.

This novel will keep my students engaged while they are reading.

My Project

Who doesn't love a mystery. This project gives my eager students an opportunity to not only indulge in their favorite literary genres; but, explore the fascinating discipline of architecture as well. This grade level mystery/adventure will satisfy the curiosity that my students have for all things mystery and should lead to some interesting discussions in our mystery reading circles.

As my students gather the clues to unravel the mystery novel of the The Wright 3 by Blue Balliet, they will strengthen their problem solving skills by identifying inferences and recognizing character traits which can influence and determine plot twists.
