My students need learn to code file folders, gram weight sets, create your own passports, and science file folder games
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Fraas's classroom raised $180
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students sit in a classroom that is culturally balanced. My students come from various countries and speak various languages at home. The students in my class come from families that are struggling financially. The students attend a Title I school where funds are limited to purchase things that will enhance their learning outside of a textbook.
The students in my class are hands-on learners, and learn better without a pencil in their hands.
Many of my students also suffer from attention deficit disorder, in which distraction overrides their learning
My Project
As a teacher you want to expose your students to all the academic learning possibilities you can, and that is giving them every hands on opportunity that you can. My students having mini passports, will allow them to learn about other countries, and states outside of their community. The gram weights will be used in both science and math concepts, that provide a hands on approach. The science file folders, will allow students to practice science skills in small group settings, when time is not on your side. Lastly, having the Learn to code file folder games will allow students to think critically.
My job as a teacher is to make sure I give my students the hands on learning that they need and crave in school.
