Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from the inner city and are naturally curious about a rural environment which I love. The geology kits will have an impact on learning by teaching how the earth was made, what are the earth’s building blocks, and develop a sense of conservancy.
Hands on learning works best for my special education students.
Once a foundation of understanding is accomplished, the class will apply their understanding by exploring the 37 acre campus that make up our school grounds and gardens
Improving the soil will be one contribution to the school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
