Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The multicultural carpet will support English learner students that I service from grades K-5. It will be a great addition to our Multicultural Multilingual Academic Language Lab. The carpet will help students feel welcomed and included in the educational environment. They will be able to have nice circle discussions and conversations.

The carpet will support whole group, small group, and peer-to-peer interactions during instructional time.

It provides an alternative comfortable space for students to interact with each other and to explore and investigate learning concepts. I know my students will love it!
