My students are just learning how to find answers for themselves. They are excited to explore and discover new things. We are opening the world to them through literature, science, social studies, math, and art. They love to read and learn about new cultures. They challenge themselves with difficult math problems, especially fractions. My students are very hands-on learners. They like real-life scenarios where they can see the value in learning a new skill. They like to create and express themselves through art.
My Project
Art is a way to express what you feel and what you see in the world around you. This year my students are learning new things about themselves and the world around them. We are reading literature about different cultures. We are writing about our thoughts and opinions on a variety of subjects. We are exploring the world by studying early explorers and the paths they traveled. We would love to create new forms of expression with art. We can paint the world and draw the sky. With these art supplies, my students will be able to express themselves and discover the beauty in the world around them.
