My Project

As a librarian, I noticed our students returned from Covid-19 distance learning with a narrow view of their world. Many stayed home and rarely ventured out beyond their safe bubble. Their online lessons centered on reading and math, with little exposure to geography subjects such as states and countries.

I am asking for geography materials such as globes, maps, puzzles, atlases, and books to give kids hands-on experiences with continents, countries, states, and oceans.

When we read stories set in other countries, these materials will help students learn even more.
