This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am so excited to be teaching Second Grade! Each year I am greeted with an awesome group of students who are eager to learn and to share. Their various interests and learning styles keep me searching for new and innovative ways to keep them engaged and to meet their needs.
Their sense of wonder and enthusiasm towards learning keeps me looking forward to each day.
I sometimes think that I learn as much from them as they do from me! The learning gains made in 2nd Grade are amazing. It is so rewarding to work with students and to see their academic, emotional and social growth over the course of the year.

Now, more than ever, computers are needed in the classroom. This desktop will put virtual field trips, thousands of online books, interactive lessons, and STEM activities and experiments right at students' fingertips. With the click of a mouse the wonders of the world can be brought right into my classroom on our large screen display.
