My Project
The first five years in every child's life are some of the most important for development and learning. Teaching young children is such a special and meaningful job. It's truly amazing to watch what a transformation they go though from the beginning to end of the school year. My class has such a desire to learn about the world around them, they are always so inquisitive about everything around them and absorb everything that they can.
There is no better time to incorporate new and exciting ways to learn about people, places, and feelings that will be around them and with them for the rest of their lives than in their early years.
Because children absorb so much and so quickly in their early years, Covid-19 had a big impact on some of their learning and social skills. Being isolated at home and without a wide variety of learning tools, some children have fallen behind in The Word Gap. Gifting my class these exciting books and learning toys will help to heighten their curiosity and love for learning!
