My students are amazing! Our K-8 elementary school is located in a rural part of central California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We love our community and the natural resources we have in our area.
Many of my students come from middle to low-income families.
My students come to school every day excited to learn something new and ready to take on a new challenge. While our students have many obstacles in their lives, they persevere and succeed.
My Project
My students will be learning about the world around them. They will be creating written reports in science and social science and presenting their findings to their classmates though Powerpoint presentations.
My students love having the opportunity to explore information on their own and then share out their learning to their peers.
My students will be doing this work on the Macbook, using the Microsoft office software and saving their work on the computer. Some students will need to use the mouse to assist in creating their reports and sharing out their findings. Students will be creating animal reports that focus on the four regions of California tying science and social science together.
