The WONDERs of Reading

Help me give my students the ability to read "Wonder" along with me during one of their favorite read aloud books!

My Project

My fourth grade students love our read alouds. I select high interest books that I know fourth graders can relate to. This year I noticed that my students went out of their way to find copies of Wonder to read on their own while I read the book aloud. This popular book helps to teach students empathy, kindness, and the importance of treating other people with respect.

Students develop better reading fluency when they read silently alongside a fluent reader.

By giving my students the ability to read Wonder while I read aloud from my copy will help them to become even more invested in the story!
