The movie based on the book The Wild Robot just came out and it's a big hit with elementary-age children!
Most of the students that I work with do not have the privilege of attending movies at the theater, however, they can experience this story in their imaginations if they are able to share these wonderful books during our reading block!
A love of literature is often started at home and in cases where that is not possible, teachers step in exposing their students to the joy of reading and the experiences that can be obtained by immersing in a great book.
