Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, resilient, and full of heart. They come from a variety of racial, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, bringing unique experiences and perspectives into our classroom. What makes them truly special is their compassion and curiosity. They are eager to learn, support each other, and grow into kind, thoughtful individuals.
They deserve stories and lessons that reflect who they are and help them see the world through new eyes.
This project will provide each student with their own copy of The Wild Robot along with a complete boxed set. In addition, I will use a Teacher Guide and Novel Unit to deliver engaging lessons and thoughtful discussions that deepen comprehension and social emotional learning.
The $100 gift card for Teachers Pay Teachers will help me access additional resources and activities tailored to my students’ needs, making learning even more interactive and meaningful. My goal is to create a reading experience where every student feels seen, inspired, and connected to themes of identity, empathy, and belonging.
