My Students

I currently teach students who range in age of 3-5. We have an interesting mixed group of children this year. We have a total of 11 boys and 4 girls. We have some students who are working on writing their first name and counting higher than 10 while others are working on social skills and using various manipulatives in the art area.

Our students come from various backgrounds and at school we want to expose them to various educational opportunities.

We are working on various ways to keep their learning interesting and while making it fun at the same time! In our lessons we get them up and moving as much as possible.

My Project

We will be learning about various animals and pets during our pet study month. This event will be at our conclusion of our pet study.

Wild World of Animals visiting our class is a great opportunity for the students to learn about various animals that they might not normally see in their backyards.

The students will see close to 13 different animals including some reptiles, amphibians, and mammals in an hour long presentation. The trainers will talk about what the animal eats and what their habitats are and how they take care of the animals. From this experience their interest may be awaken for furthering their learning in this area.
